Whenever I ask someone in this industry why they those chose their career, the answer is always the same: they chose it to make others feel better about themselves. That is the definition of a servant leader. I can spot a hairstylist in a group of people just based on the way they interact with others. Their mission is always to lift up and empower others. I don't know about you, but I feel like we could use a lot more of that in our world.

In addition to owning Meraki Studios, I have the privilege of helping other salon professionals as a coach for Summit Salon Business Center. It is my goal for my guests, my team and the salons I serve not only see what’s possible, but to actually achieve it -there’s no greater feeling.
